Introducing Abandoned Payment Reminder Emails with Discount Codes
Instamojo’s Abandoned Payment Reminder Email feature, is designed to help merchants recover sales from customers who abandoned their payment process.
This feature offers two powerful functionalities:
a. Automated Reminder Emails: Send reminder emails to your customers who abandoned their payment process. To send automated reminder emails, you must first subscribe to the Abandoned Payment Reminder Email app.
b. Automated Reminder Emails with Discount Codes:
You can send automated reminder emails both with and without discount codes.
Enable Discount Code Flow:
a. Reminder email with a Discount Code: Enabling this option will prompt you to create a discount code to be included in your emails. Once the code is created and saved, it will be automatically included in the emails sent to your customers.
b. Reminder email without a Discount Code: If "Discount Code" option is disabled, the reminder emails will be sent to your customers but without a discount code.
Preview of the Reminder Emails:
You can view preview of the reminder email that will be sent to your customers on the app page directly. This includes previews for both scenarios: when the discount code flow is enabled and when it is disabled.
a. When you subscribe to the app, you'll see a default preview email that is an email without a discount code.
b. When you enable the discount code flow, the email content preview will update to reflect the inclusion of the discount code, allowing you to see exactly what your customers will receive.
Accessing the Feature:
To access the Abandoned Payment Reminder Email feature, follow these simple steps:
- Log in to your dashboard using your credentials and navigate to the Workflows option located under the Marketing section.
- Under Workflows, select the "Abandoned Payment Reminder Email" option.
- Subscribe to the App.
- You can find the "Preview the Email" option at the top of the page.
- You can find the "Enable discount code flow" option at the bottom of the page.
- Create a discount code
- Save the form to confirm that the created coupon will be sent in the reminder email.
